My challenge for this project brief was to create a publication comprising of three self-written essays related to any issue I chose, with prompts providing for questions. For the essays I chose to focus on film, my personal association with the film industry and relationships between film and design.
The publication was designed in a modern, debatably futuristic design, with strong use of minimalistic design practices throughout. The whole publication is black and white, apart from the images that are used in essay spreads, directing the viewers attention to the images and text. Structure is a strong aspect of the design, using harsh edges and line work and bold colour, softened only by the use of shadows which compliment these features.
